The San José Police Department’s Megan’s Law Detail obtained arrest warrants for thirteen (13) individuals who were in violation of their sex registration requirements. From April 8th through May 6th 2025, San José Police Department Officers arrested the thirteen (13) separate registered sex offenders.
One of the sex registrants in violation was located after being on the run from law enforcement since 2019. Another subject was arrested on a $250,000 warrant.
Four (4) of the thirteen (13) suspects are registered sex offenders that fit specific criteria known as a “no post.” These registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure and the public cannot see them on the Megan’s Law public website. The Megan’s Law Detail is diligent in keeping families safe from sex offenders the public may not know live in their communities.
