On June 6, 2025, at approximately 10:40 PM, San José Police Department Officers responded to the 6500 Block of Camden Avenue for a report of a shooting. When Officers arrived on scene, they located an adult male victim suffering from at least one gun shot wound. Officers began life saving measures and summoned medical personnel to the residence. Despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
During the course of the investigation, a suspect was taken into custody. They will be named at a later date.
The motive and circumstances are still under investigation.
This incident is being investigated as the City's 11th Homicide of 2025.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office.
